Q: Can I cancel my subscription to CrownPeak's services at anytime?

If clients are unsatisfied with CrownPeak's solution or service, they are able to end use of the software depending on the terms of their agreement.

Q: Can I add new web sites to my CrownPeak Web Content Management account over time?

A: Yes. Scalability is a major advantage of CrownPeak's on-demand Web Content Management System. Clients can easily manage multiple websites using CrownPeak's SaaS Web Content Management solution. In fact, many of our clients manage both their websites and intranets. For each new site, CrownPeak will usually add an incremental services fee for system to your services to cover system usage. Also, CrownPeak Search can help you customize websites for each new project.

Q: Does CrownPeak charge for the number of users or hits my site gets?

A: No, unless utilizing CrownPeak's Search or hosting services. For these offerings, clients will have stated limits on the amount of bandwidth available each month. If these limits are regularly exceeded, clients can upgrade their accounts. Most clients do not experience this issue and find the performance of their websites within their allocated bandwidth satisfactory.

Q: Does CrownPeak offer training?

A: Yes. As part of its Service offering, CrownPeak provides training for end-users and developers. These sessions occur regularly in many cities. Customized training can also be held at a client's site or at CrownPeak's headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.

Q: Does CrownPeak offer Email Campaign Management, Ad Serving, CRM and other services?

A: These services as offered as integrated components of CrownPeak's SaaS Web Content Management solution through its Software Services partners, such as ExactTarget or Salesforce.com. In these cases, clients typically prefer to contract directly with the partner.

Q: Does CrownPeak offer training?

A: Yes. As part of its Service offering, CrownPeak provides training for end-users and developers. These sessions occur regularly in many cities. Customized training can also be held at a client's site or at CrownPeak's headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.

Q: Does CrownPeak offer its applications as installed products?

A: No. CrownPeak's Web Content Management and Optimization solutions are delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This means the applications are not installed on the customer's IT network. With this, customers are not responsible for maintaining or upgrading applications. Hosted solutions, such as CrownPeak's, benefit customers by maximizing their marketing resources and reducing their IT investments.

Q: Does CrownPeak release its software as Open Source?

A: No. CrownPeak's solutions are only offered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). For clients who need changes to code to accommodate special requests, CrownPeak will customize its offerings and then support as part of its code base.

Q: Are Open Source applications less expensive than Software Services?

A: No. While many Open Source applications are free, the cost of implementing and supporting them overtime is typically two to five times the cost of the software itself. Software Services, such as CrownPeak, can offer 50% or greater cost savings when compared to installed applications. With this, they are typically less expensive than a custom or installed application - even with no application license fee.
